Tiny Core Linux

Tiny Core Linux is a Linux distribution with minimal footprint (15MB), primarily designed to run from a RAM, with optional storage for applications. The distribution consists of the Linux kernel, a set of command line tools (e.g., aterm, busybox) and a minimal desktop environment (e.g., FLTK library, FLWM window manager, and Wbar dock). Third-party application extensions for Tiny Core Linux are packaged in .TCZ format, and distributed from the AppBrowser repository which features thousands of community-built extensions. In default mode, Tiny Core loads itself and any application extension entirely on RAM, and any downloaded applications are lost on reboot. Alternatively, Tiny Core can boot into Mount/Copy mode, where applications are either mounted or copied from persistent storage on to RAM.
