Apache Tomcat

Apache Tomcat is an open-source reference implementation of Java Servlet and JSP container for Java applications. As such it can execute Java Servlets and render dynamic webpages coded by JSP. Tomcat is commonly used by web developers to build and maintain dynamic websites or enterprise applications based on Java software platform. Apache Tomcat is the most popular application server for Java based programs, but unlike other fully-featured Java EE application servers like GlassFish, it does not support all Java EE specifications.
